- Gives you a 4” lift and a gear reduction in one package
- Choose a 15% or 30% gear reduction
- Maintains OEM suspension angles
- Choose dual idler gears for ultimate strength
What Is a Dual Idler?
We’ve put years of research and development into making our dual idlers the best in the industry. With two idlers in the portal box, the load gets spread over two gears instead of one. But they have to be mated perfectly to spread the force evenly. Ours are thanks to precision CNC grinding. Plus, they’re made from the industry-leading 9310 steel alloy. If you don’t think dual idlers matter, think again. With GDP quality, they give you strength you can’t get anywhere else.
Ride Anywhere You Want with 15% and 30% Gear Reductions
Choose between a 15% and 30% gear reduction to ride the way you want. A 30% reduction prioritizes torque and acceleration—perfect for mud, rocks, and big tires while still tearing up full-throttle trails. For even more top-end speed, go with 15% and enjoy your boosted torque while riding flat out.
A Gear Reduction That Protects Your Drivetrain
Portals have their gear reduction right in the hub. That makes this gear reduction reduce the stress on your axles, differential, prop shaft, and transmission. You can ride harder than stock and cause less wear. It’s a win-win, and a recipe for fun.
Unmatched Gear Material
We made our gears with the most premium, top-of-the-line gear material you can get. They’re made from precision-ground 9310 alloy steel so they mate perfectly each and every time. That gives you super smooth, super quiet portals no matter how hard you ride. GDP gives you luxury and performance.
Stronger Housings and Backing Plates
You think you can find tougher portals than GDP? Think again. Our housings are stronger by design. We know what makes a housing break and why. That’s why you get housing that can handle it whether you choose a cast or a USA-made 6061 billet aluminum. They’re combined with advanced steel alloy backing plates. This isn’t your grandfather’s steel. It’s specialized for ultra-high force applications. You’re getting kick-ass portals with unmatched strength and reliability.
- Our housings are reinforced for gear retention and optimized for oil flow
- Advanced steel alloy backing plates are stronger than chromoly
- Enhance with Portal Blood—gear oil formulated for GDP Portals
- There are no gimmicks and no vents because vents do more harm than good—we know because we tested them
Advanced Gaskets, Seals, and Bearings
Our portals use:
- Advanced gaskets and O-rings with excellent oil resistance and low deterioration rates
- A sealed input gear and double-lipped output seal
- 100% sealing coverage throughout so you can forget about oil leaks
- Double-angular contact output bearings to prevent premature wear
- Roller idler and drive bearings to maintain perfect gear meshing
GDP—the Most Trusted Name in Portals
Whatever GDP Portal Gear Lift you choose, you can count on them being the best portals you can get. More riders roll on GDP portals than any other portal system. And with thousands of them out on the trail every day amounting to hundreds of thousands of ride hours, you can bet they’re trail-proven.
